Who are the Angry Tías y Abuelas? We are an informal group of volunteers made up of mostly aunts, mothers,  grandmothers, uncles and others. And just as our group name states, we are extremely angry about the abuses and neglect of immigrants and asylum-seekers arriving at the Rio Grande Valley. Immigrants have been subjected to inhumane treatment and we will NOT stand for it. Now, we are mobilizing to do everything we can do to stop the abuses of this administration.

¿Quiénes somos?

¿Quiénes son las tías y abuelas enojadas? Somos un grupo informal de voluntarios formado principalmente por tías, madres, abuelas, tíos y otros. Y así como nuestro nombre de grupo declara, estamos muy enojados por los abusos y descuido de los inmigrantes y solicitantes de asilo que llegan al valle del río grande. Los inmigrantes han sido sometidos a un trato inhumano y no lo toleraremos. Ahora, nos movilizamos para hacer todo lo que podamos para detener los abusos de esta administración.
